For awhile now I have been following a weekly workout routine & it’s going well. On Tuesdays I like to do light cardio on the treadmill. I usually stay on the treadmill for at least thirty minutes. Lately, I have been walking for thirty seconds, then sprinting for sixty seconds. When I’m on the treadmill, I have found that it helps to focus on the tv at the gym to pass the time. One thing I enjoy about the treadmill is the cooldown process. There’s something about all of the walking & sprinting that makes the cooldown process seem so rewarding. It signifies the end of my workout for the day & helps to restore my heartbeat to a normal rate. Although I love the treadmill, sometimes I enjoy walking outside for exercise. Since Spring is here & the weather has been beautiful, I’ll be walking outside instead of using the treadmill on Tuesdays. The fresh air, light breeze, & blue skies will create the perfect peaceful workout environment. Where do you enjoy working out- the gym, at home, or outside? Do you use the treadmill?
