Lately my husband & I have been going bowling regularly. We recently got our own bowling balls & have been practicing weekly & I have to say, practice is paying off. When we first started bowling, my highest score per game never exceeded 70. However, yesterday that all changed- finally! After spending hours at our local bowling alley practicing yesterday, I finally began to understand what my husband meant by muscle memory. Apparently, my body & muscles are finally getting a feel for the actions I take when I am bowling. Since I have my own personal ball now, I have been learning to adjust to the weight & feel of that ball. Also, I have finally found a form that is working for me when I bowl. As a result of working on consistency with my form & tons of practice, I actually noticed some improvements in my game yesterday. For the first time ever, I scored over 100- twice! I was so proud of this new accomplishment, I could hardly contain my excitement! I guess I needed to be reminded that practice really does make perfect, or in my case- progress!
